Each gate is made to measure and can be configured for manual or electric operation. Every order is supplied as a complete kit, ready to install on site:
Width — The selected width refers to the clear opening width.
Total Height — Measured from ground level to the highest point of the gate, including decorative top finish such as spikes or spear tops when selected.
A sliding gate is not just about the visible design. The strength of the frame, the size of the steel profile and the cantilever track all affect how well the gate works over time.
At MS Gates, we build our gates with properly sized steel sections, matched to the opening width and overall gate size. Smaller gates are built with strong box-section frames, while larger openings require heavier steel profiles and stronger cantilever tracks to reduce flex and support smooth operation.
For standard sliding gates, we use solid steel frames such as 70×70 mm or 80×80 mm box section, depending on the opening width. Our cantilever gates use a heavy-duty 80×80×5 mm track, not a lighter 3.5 mm section often found in cheaper systems.
For larger gates above 5.5 metres, we upgrade the system further, using a 100×100×6 mm cantilever track and a 80×80×4 mm or 100×100×4 mm steel frame for additional strength and stability.
